Hallmark Engineering Group, alongside EES Solutions and Hadfield Services Limited, had the opportunity to participate in Cenex Expo 2024, a hub of cutting-edge innovation and advancements in mobility and energy.
Recently, Adam Walker, Bid Manager at Hallmark Engineering Group, explored some of the most exciting technologies on display. One highlight was his visit to Prodrive and ELM Mobility, where he experienced their all-electric van designed for last-mile delivery—one of many promising solutions for urban transport. Adam also test drove an electric Toyota and the Ford Mustang, immersing himself in the advanced electric vehicle (EV) technology and the strides being made in zero-emission transport.
Hydrogen Takes Center Stage
Beyond the electric vehicles, the expo showcased significant advancements in hydrogen fuel cell technology. Companies like Bosch and VIRITECH are leading the way, with hydrogen-powered transport becoming increasingly vital for a zero-emission future. The Translink hydrogen bus was a highlight, illustrating how this green technology can revolutionise public transportation.
In addition to these innovations, Adam engaged with leaders from Nyobolt and Bosch, discussing advancements in battery technology, as well as the future of hydrogen-powered transport.
